In early December, I’ll be joining my best friend and his family in Memphis, Tennessee, celebrating the 10th year of Team David at the St. Jude Memphis Marathon® Weekend!
Who’s David?
Trust me, I have the inside scoop on this angel. I’ve been told that David was an incredibly intelligent teenager and wise beyond his years. I’ve been told that David loved video games, and his energy was truly infectious. I’ve also been told that David hated running, hahaha, but loved to cheer on his family of devoted runners!
St. Jude afforded David and his family the opportunity to give cancer hell every step of the way! From never receiving a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food to advancing research and treatment for childhood cancer. St. Jude has long emerged as a force in ending childhood cancer, and their efforts should inspire us all to join them.
Let your compassion and generosity propel you to lean in to help drive change! We must always walk with the knowledge that we are stronger together than we will ever be apart.
