For ten years, no seriously since 2015, Donald Trump has posed an imminent threat to our rights, our freedoms, and our democracy.
Mr. President, you sir are a criminal. A predator. A cold, calculated, and callous dictator.
For the next 1242 days, we will continue this fight. We won’t back down. You can’t silence us. You can’t take away our voice. We resist.
10 years later, this is still one hell of a crew neck. Stay vigilant. Stay ten toes. Stay woke. Keep fighting the good fight! 💪🏼

Summit of the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, 2014

I love you.
I see you.
I was you.

Love on the people who love you. Revisit that place that brought you so much pain. Celebrate even the small magical moments.
We are all here on borrowed time. 🩷

No one is coming to save you, Jesus already did that. Healing is your responsibility. Let hope hold your hand while you save yourself. Be your own hero. 🩷
xoxoxo,

My Momma didn’t raise me to be silent. 🩷
What she’s taught me:

+ It is what it is.
+ Cry, then boss up.
+ Stand for something or fall for anything.

Marching to the beat of my own drum.

As a mental health advocate, it is my responsibility to be transparent. For the last four years, I have taken Zoloft to assist with my mental health.
Zoloft (Sertraline): Sertraline is a medication that increases the amount of serotonin hormone in your brain. It treats depression, anxiety, and other mental health conditions.
Pill shaming occurs when someone expresses negative opinions or disdain when you tell them you’re using medication to treat a mental health disorder.
Pill shaming? Yeah, don’t.
