Milan Harris, also known as Milan Rouge, is the founder, CEO and owner of the luxury streetwear brand Milano Di Rouge. She is a serial entrepreneur, a real estate investor, an author, and a philanthropist.

Milan, a West Philly native, worked tirelessly to make a name for herself and build the 8-figure Milano Di Rouge empire. She initially launched Milano Di Rouge with two shirts, some confidence, and her 2009 Altima Coupe that she used to drive around the Tri-state area to sell her shirts.

Milan built the self-funded company from the ground up, working tirelessly to continue to elevate her brand. Today, Milano Di Rouge is an all-size-inclusive multi-million-dollar one of a kind fashion brand.

With more courage than experience, Milan began grabbing the attention of her peers with her motivational words launching her blog, milanrouge.com, in 2012. After capturing the attention of more than 100,000 readers in three months, she seized the opportunity to launch Milano Di Rouge to honor her love for fashion.

Launched in 2012, Milano Di Rouge means “Making Dreams Reality,” and over time, Milan has proven that big things can start small.

Milan is also the Founder of The Womanaire Club and The Mamanaire Club, two outlets she created to provide resources to boss women and boss moms like herself to help them continue to elevate.

Milan is the recipient of a Community and Civic Engagement Award from the NAACP for the outstanding work she does to uplift her community.

Milan is the co-author of Because of Them: Czar’s Story of Black Inventors and Their Inventions to teach parents and their kids about the people behind the inventions that we can’t live without today.

She is also the co-founder of College Boy Cheesesteaks, the only authentic Philadelphia cheesesteak truck you can find in Los Angeles.

Milan is the recipient of a Community and Civic Engagement Award from the NAACP Philadelphia Chapter.

MILAN’S IMPACT
For Small Business Saturday, Milan gave back by spending $10,000 with small businesses around the country

In partnership with the non-profit organization Soles4Soles, Milan donated 1,000 of Milano Di Rouge’s sweat suits and 25,000 pairs of the brand’s slides to Haiti and other third-world countries

In collaboration with Black Lightning actress and Y-FEAR founder, Nafessa Williams, Milan hosted the “20K Challenge” for women in need by donating $1,000 to 20 women, helping them to pay their bills during the holiday season

Milan has donated more than $50,000 to single mothers in her hometown of Philly
Each year, with the exception of 2020 and 2021, Milan funds Thanksgiving drives, Christmas drives and back-to-school drives for the Philly community

Milan is an HIV/AIDS activist. In 2016, she organized the “Safe Sex Saves Lives” initiative, providing prevention education, safe sex resources and support for high-risk, low income communities in Philly

In 2016, Milan was also recognized as a Designer in Residence at the Philadelphia Fashion Incubator (PFI) for Macy’s.

Today, the brand has elevated to a multi-million dollar fashion empire worn by countless celebrities. More than a lifestyle brand, Milano Di Rouge symbolizes hope. The brand’s story proves that we can all make our dreams reality with faith and determination.

The Womanaire Club is a space for women to share their strengths, ambitions, creativity, and challenges with one another to make the entrepreneurial journey a little easier. As a first-generation entrepreneur from a neighborhood called “Da Bottom” in Philadelphia, Milan did not have business mentors or people around her who could guide her as she built and scaled Milano Di Rouge. So she created the Womanaire Club with ”the strong woman in mind” who sometimes has no one to count on. The goal is to provide an environment that encourages women to thrive while building community.

On social media, The Womanaire Club page shares uplifting and encouraging words from other Womanaires. An essential part of the Womanaire Club is to build community by hosting events providing resources to help Womanaires strive for greatness.

The Mamanaire Club, founded by Milan Harris, is a caring, loving, and judgment-free community for women to learn and grow through motherhood.

The Mamanaire Club is for the mama who is still reaching for her goals and dreams and needs a safe space to breathe and learn without judgment.

This club is for the mama who loves her kids and wants the best for them. It is for the mama THAT IS DEDICATED TO LEARNING WAYS TO RAISE HEALTHY CHILDREN; MENTALLY, PHYSICALLY AND SPIRITUALLY, WHILE ALSO PURSUING HER LIFE GOALS.
